Long awaited Mirrabooka Reid Highway Overpass to begin construction

Construction works are due to commence at the long awaited Mirrabooka Avenue / Reid Highway overpassInformation will be available at Mirrabooka Square Shopping Centre and Mirrabooka Library.
The new interchange will be built on the current alignment and requires no additional land. Two lanes will be provided in each direction on ReidHighway, however the bridges will be constructed to eventually carry a total six lanes of traffic.
Wide, sealed shoulders along ReidHighway will be retained for safe, on-road cycling and vehicle breakdown while noise walls and visual intrusion barriers, including landscaping, will be used to maintain the amenity of the area.
