A win for Nollamara residents!

In recent months Janine has been working with local parents and local schools to reduce speeding on Nollamara Avenue, at all times of the day, but particularly during school start and finish times.
Part of this campaign was a petition to request that the section of Nollamara Avenue between Myimbar Way and Mayfair Street be zoned to 40km per hour during school start and finish times. The petition was presented to Parliament two weeks ago. Today we learned that the campaign was successful and the Department of Transport have agreed to install the 40km per hour zone. Well done Nollamara, without the fantastic support of our community, this might not have been possible.
